The KANALSYSTEM is designed for use in silos with flat bottoms and where
central
or peripheral emptying is employed
The KANALSYSTEM is used as a cooling duct for cooling grain with
the PM-LUFT grain Cooler, as aeration ducts, and as emptying ducts for complete emptying
of the silo whenever the grain has ceased to flow under gravity
The KANALSYSTEM consists on the top of galvnized steel plate fitted with
patented openings to permit the air to passs. Ridges of concrete are cast between
the air ducts at the angle required for the grain to flow onto the ducts.
The slope of the concrete ridges between the ducts enables the grain to
flow down to the air ducts for further transport out of the silo
The design of
the air ducts permits a very high emptying capacity of up to 10,00 bushesl/hour of wheat
with a moisture content of 14 %
